Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from multiple sources across the IT infrastructure.
- Perform initial incident triage, categorizing and prioritizing by severity and escalating when required.
- Document analysis outcomes and incidents clearly and objectively.
- Support continuous improvement of the incident-response process through feedback on alert handling and procedures.
- Work closely with the wider SOC team to strengthen the security posture.
Essential requirements
- Strong foundation in information-security concepts and incident-response protocols.
- Familiarity with security platforms and monitoring and analysis tools.
- Ability to assess context, priority and impact quickly in demanding environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication for technical documentation.
- A proactive approach and initiative when handling incidents.
