Segmentation and firewall
Separate networks and zones for staff, visitors, servers and IoT, with defined communication policies.
UniFi Cloud Gateways · Cyberprotech
Connect your organisation to the internet and across locations, with clear access policies and configuration suited to your operation. We support every stage, from gateway selection to daily management.
A Cloud Gateway combines routing, a firewall and UniFi management. Architecture and policies should reflect your organisation’s users, services and risks.
Separate networks and zones for staff, visitors, servers and IoT, with defined communication policies.
IDS/IPS and traffic filtering add protection layers, supported by alert and rule reviews.
Remote access and site connectivity with protocols and permissions suited to each use case.
Multi-WAN and failover; gateway redundancy is assessed on models that support it.
Activity logs and application identification help monitor the network and investigate events.
Monitor locations, equipment and alerts through the UniFi ecosystem.
Features and capacity depend on the model, software version and enabled services.

UniFi Cloud Gateways
We configure intrusion detection and prevention to identify suspicious traffic, then tune alerts and rules to your operations.
UniFi Cloud Gateways
We separate staff, guests and IoT devices into zones, with clear policies for communication between networks.
UniFi Cloud Gateways
Site Magic simplifies VPN links between compatible sites. We define which networks communicate and monitor connectivity.
UniFi Cloud Gateways
On supported models, a second gateway can take over if the primary fails. We validate requirements and test failover.
UniFi Cloud Gateways
We combine primary and backup connections, with health criteria and priorities tailored to your services. Switching links may interrupt active sessions.
UniFi Cloud Gateways
Flow records and logs help identify applications, destinations and communication patterns, supporting diagnostics and rule reviews.

Manufacturer figures are technical references, not guaranteed performance in every configuration. We confirm intended use, capacity and availability in Portugal before proposing equipment.
Review connections, users, applications, existing equipment and dependencies. Define the architecture, policies and transition plan.
Configure networks, the firewall and corporate VPNs. Test access, network separation and agreed failure scenarios before handover.
Take responsibility for management or work with your internal team. Agree permissions, change procedures, documentation and responsibilities.
Review alerts and updates and provide technical support. Coverage hours, channels and response times are defined in the service agreement.
That depends on the connection and contracted services. We assess the ISP equipment, access requirements and the suitability of bridge mode or another compatible configuration.
Yes, through suitable VPN design and configuration. We identify the networks and resources required and define permissions for each site or user.
No. Built-in WiFi, PoE ports, storage and supported applications vary by model. The proposal identifies the components required, including switches and access points.
We distinguish features included with the equipment, optional manufacturer services and Cyberprotech services. Scope and costs are identified in the proposal.
We plan to reduce impact through an implementation window, testing and a recovery plan. Potential interruptions and dependencies are identified beforehand; a completely interruption-free migration is not assumed.
On supported models, Shadow Mode pairs two gateways of the same model so the standby unit can take over if the primary fails. It uses VRRP and synchronises configuration and connection state. We validate software, dedicated links, WAN/LAN connections and power, then test failover. Recovery time and service continuity depend on the deployment.
Where supported, connectivity safeguards can roll back changes that make a device unreachable. Automatic recovery and staged PoE port startup can also help restore operation. We assess each function against device and software compatibility, backups and maintenance windows, and validate the settings through tests and monitoring.
Tell us about your connections, locations and access needs. We will help define the architecture and support arrangements.
